Our story
Xcel Driving Academy was founded in Derby to do one thing better than the big national chains: actually listen to the learner in the driver’s seat. Too many pupils were being rushed through generic lesson plans, shouted at when they stalled, and pushed towards tests they weren’t ready for.
We built Xcel to be the opposite. Calm, structured, honest tuition that goes at your pace and treats you as an intelligent adult from the very first lesson. Whether you’re 17 and nervous, 47 and switching from automatic, or somewhere in between — we’ll get you road-ready without the drama.
